The story

I didn't plan to build a company. I just never stopped quizzing.

It started in school. The electric silence before an answer lands. The way a good question makes a room — a hundred strangers — lean forward as one.

I competed obsessively. Bournvita Quiz Contest. TCS IT Wiz. Derek O'Brien. CBSE Heritage India. MP Tourism State Quiz. I won some, lost more, and learned something from every one: a quiz doesn't test what you know. It tests how your mind works under pressure.

In school, I built quizgranny.com — an online quiz platform that grew organically to thousands of users before I fully understood what I was building. The idea never left me. It just waited for the right moment to grow up.

Today I run Quiz Granny Digital Solutions — an end-to-end quiz company, a growing community, and a platform in the making. What changed is the scale. What hasn't changed is the obsession with what makes a question land.

Built quizgranny.com as a school student. An online quiz platform that scaled organically. The product was early. The instinct was right. And the name stuck.
2020–2022
Digital marketing and strategy
Built hands-on expertise in digital marketing, performance marketing, and content strategy — certifications from Google, LinkedIn, SHRM, and Grant Thornton. This became Quiz Granny's commercial backbone.

India needs a gamification movement. I'm building it.

Gamification is one of the most underutilised forces in education and engagement today. In India, there are almost no dedicated practitioners or professionals in this space. That gap is not accidental. It is an opportunity — and a responsibility.

The psychology of engagement
The brain responds to challenge, progress, unpredictability, and social validation — not passive content delivery. Gamification works because it activates these fundamental drives. My work as a gamification professional maps these mechanisms directly to quiz format design and educational delivery.

Quizzing as a learning architecture
A well-designed quiz is not a test. It is a structured cognitive experience — one that uses challenge, competition, and curiosity to make information stick. This is the difference between a quiz that entertains and one that genuinely builds knowledge and sharpens thinking.

Changing the discourse of education
India's education system measures retention. Gamification can shift the conversation toward curiosity, application, and engagement. When students compete to know — not just to pass — the quality of learning changes fundamentally. This is the thesis Quiz Granny is building toward.
The attention recession is real. Gamification is the answer.
Every year, classrooms, training rooms, and corporate halls grow quieter — not because people are less capable, but because passive formats have lost the battle for attention. Gamification restores agency to the learner. It creates stakes, rewards effort, and makes the act of knowing feel worthwhile. Quizzes, designed with this understanding, are one of the most powerful tools in that arsenal. I have spent over a decade building, testing, and refining this belief — in competition halls, on corporate stages, and in communities I have built from scratch.

300+ events for corporates, universities, schools, brands, and organisations. I personally host every Quiz Granny event — because the craft of hosting is half of what makes a quiz work.

Years of applied research into the psychology of engagement, learning motivation, and human attention — translated directly into how Quiz Granny formats are built. Not theory. Applied, tested, and refined in live rooms with real audiences.
